It's a very happening place for appetizers, drinks, and dinner. The food was good, but I was a little disappointed with the seafood soup. I didn't like their fusion. The ceviche was authentic Peruvian so it was a bit sour. The salad was very good. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was lively. Overall, I like the restaurant but the food wasn't accordingly to my taste.

Always a good time here. They have a few tables for bigger groups of people. They have some of the best cocktails around. This place always has a lively group. There's also outdoor space heaters when it gets cold. The bathroom needs a code, you can get that at the front desk.

This place is absolutely wonderful. I felt like the environment was positive and just well laid out. I could definitely see why this place was so busy. I went here with three friends on a Saturday night. The place was busy, but incredibly clean. I ordered the grilled Mahi Mahi tacos and the COCHINITA PIBIL TACOS. The fish tacos were just okay. While the fish was perfectly cooked, they really didn't have much flavor. They couldn't have done so much with these, but instead just squirted a sauce on top. Just sad. The cochinita taco was delicious. The pork had a sweet flavor and it was well accented. I also tried the chocolate pot de creme. It was outstanding! If you like decedent desserts, order it. All in all, it wasn't a bad night and I look forward to trying more food.

Met up with a friend in Ventura - he chose Rumfish. Surprisingly large, casual, trendy, but friendly ambiance. Not cheap, but worth it. Had the halibut special of the day, Caribbean flavors nicely combined. Buddy had the beef carnitas. Went easy and did elderflower rosé spritzers, perfectly balanced. Couldn't resist the giant flan, also expertly prepared. Waitstaff is angelic, considering the volume of patrons. Yep, would absolutely come back.

Visited this restaurant with my friend on a Tuesday evening. We made reservations so we were seated quickly. We were seated outside, which I would recommend for the evening as the ambiance is very cute and there are heaters if it gets cold. Our server greeted us quickly and brought us waters and menus. Service was friendly and we were able to order all of our dishes and drinks. The drinks were perfectly balanced - I got the tangini which I highly recommend for those who like their drinks on the sweeter side! For food we shared all the plates and got the octopus tostones, queso fundido, apricot habanero flatbread and halibut ceviche. We really enjoyed the flavors of the queso fundido and flatbread but found the others a little more underwhelming. The octopus tostones was difficult to eat and flavors were not as vibrant as I was hoping. The halibut ceviche was similar - I was hoping for it to be fresh but I felt like the seasonings were lacking. For desserts we shared an espresso martini - which was one of the best I had ! And had a the key lime pie. Nothing really special to note about this but it was good! Overall, the dinner was enjoyable but wished the food was more flavorful.

Top tier Valentine's date night. The outdoor heat lamps and fireplace are such a vibe, and really helped with the windy evening. The waitress was very sweet and served us promptly. The cocktails were 12/10. We had both of the gin drinks, the blood orange gimlet and the cucumber Colin's or something. The muscles were the best we've ever had.. that broth is heavenly. We also shared the sea bass .. so refreshing and flavorful and the short rib lasagna was packed with meat.. very hearty and comforting on a winter night! We will be back!

The service was great thank you Chris! Our food and drinks were awesome! The orders always come out quickly! And on a Friday night! Meeting friends for lunch and conversation on a rainy Tuesday morning. No problem getting a table inside (though there was someone sitting out on the patio ever optimistic that the sun would soon be out). Meg, our server, came by to get our drink order soon after we sat down. Service was good throughout the meal. The lunch menu is pretty limited (see photo) but between the starters, the salads and the sandwiches, there are things you can be happy with. My wife and I shared the Cubano ($17) with a side of fries. It is a pretty standard Cubano with pork, bacon, cheddar on a toasted ciabatta bread - quite good. The biggest negative is the limited metered street parking.
